The mission of CFBC is to be a biblically-based community of believers dedicated to impacting our world with the good news of Jesus Christ.
We are committed to seeing the five purposes of the Church, both individually and as a collective body:
We are committed to glorifying God by making disciples through the preaching of the Gospel and the administration of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47).
God is using the Church, globally and locally, to restore what was in the garden of Eden. We are to bear his image, have dominion over creation, and be fruitful and multiply the Kingdom.
The body of Christ is called to exalt Him as our King in everything we do and proclaim His name to a lost world. He has entrusted the Church with the keys to His Kingdom, giving us the privilege and responsibility to be faithful gatekeepers.
As gatekeepers, the Church is entrusted with the responsibility of guarding and preserving the Word of God, using it to equip and edify the saints for the work of ministry and to build up the body of Christ.
The Church is to be a pillar of Truth in the world, built on the cornerstone of Christ. Our foundation is the confession of Jesus as Lord.
