Our Beliefs

CFBC formally adopts the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as its primary doctrinal guideline.

A more general statement of our faith is as follows:

We believe there is one God who exists in Three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the eternal creator of man and all things. All men have sinned and stand guilty before God. Christ came in flesh as truly God and truly man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose again. His death paid the price for sin and anyone who repents and has faith in Him alone, apart from works, receives forgiveness and eternal life; standing not guilty before God. All other doctrine is important, but is secondary, in relation to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
